....my question is WHY????

Hi my friends...well...I'm interested on American Health system. I'd like to know WHY Americans have to pay in order to receive health care. It seems to me that it should be obvious that health care has to be guarantee to everyone cos it is (or should be) a right. You shouldn't pay for it. It's unbelievable 'n It doesn't make sense! see ya
