A criteria must be used...

Hi all you folks!!! Obviously when we do research we must evaluate information we come across. We shouldn't rely on information which can be a fake. Information has to be judged first of all 'cuz quantity of information is so huge and also their quality can be low. Your research has to be fussy, it shouldn't be sketchy, if it'll be so your work will be a failure. I totally agree that the evaluation is an art; it is the most important skill we have to improve if we want that our research will be good. I have to confess you all that I rarely think about some questions which should be asked, for example, I have never thought about who is responsible for publishing the information provided by the source. When I do research I just write on "google" (I've never used "wikipedia", I don't know why, I think it's made broadly speakin') the topic I'm looking for and I keep the fingers crossed. I usually check if it's a reliable source and anything else, I know...I'm an idiot! My research should have been more accurate, I hope they'll be better. See ya

...you tube...and tube people!!!

Hi my friends...obviously on u-tube you can find what you want and what you are looking for, but it has to be used on the right way. I think u-tube is another tool which can help us to improve our English, we have to realized that on the net we will find everything we need. As I pointed out before we must be fully conscious of our responsibilities...I mean...we have to choose carefully the stuff we are interested in, we will find both good and bad things. As long as we choose the right stuff and Bob's your uncle! Then, I think you-tube must be supervised, I'll be repetitive but it's a shame that people can put on the net what they want. There are too much offensive videos. Too much freedom is dangerous!!! See ya...

Pod cast...

Eh up my friends!, well...I've just found out podcasts I'm interested in. The first regards business english: it will get more and more useful if u 're interested in workin' for companies which deal with foreign clients. It is about communicating your ideas in ways other people will want to listen to and accept; how to ask about something that happened or show interest in a colleague’s life; u'll teach common phrases people use when they are making presentations and also u can know new business vocabulary, language to invite someone out informally and language to try and persuade someone to come if they say, “no” to your invitation. This podcast regards BBC learning english: it's divided into different topics, u'll find "grammar and vocabulary" or "quizzes and exams" where u can test your english and also u can improve your own vocabulary by listen to news. In the last one I chose u can select the language u're interested in and listen to on-line lessons and what u want, I mean...u go to english and u can choose for example "Weekly English Lessons" and other cool tools!well...catch you later!

Social bookmark is amazing ...

Hi classmates!!!how's goin' with technology??? I've just taken a glance at the websites you chose and noticed they are strictly related to learning English: I did the same choices. The website I'll use the most is this 'cos it's a very quick tool...u know it may come in handy when you are writin'...sometimes u have to check words and particular verbs or you can't be sure about the grammar choice u do.
The lesson we got on Wednesday was a good crack!!!I think we got another useful tool...it's very smart, isn't it? Social bookmarking gives us many advantages: it allows us doin' fast reasearch; we can organize better our stuff and look at sites that our peers chose; and...you know...we can look for thing which aren't in the whole net but just in del.icio.us...I mean...that's the greatest advantage!!! I'm sure I'll appreciate Social bookmarking more than Bloglines and think I'll use it more than the other one 'cos everytime I'm on the net I need to make a list of sites. I hope u'll have a fun with this new tool, ease up and see ya around dudes!

keep it in mind...

Hi!I'm thinking about words and expressions we find when we watch a movie or when we read newspapers...obviously I'm referring to English words! I reckon we should remember everything that could enrich and improve our English...I mean...if we read something new, the best thing we have to do is to write it down so the next time we could check or use it. I have a file where I write new words or expressions, there u can find slang, colloquial expressions, verbs, examples and so on...but I think that's not enough 'cos we'd force us to use new words when we talk or write...in this way we'll never forget them, it's cool usin' somethin' new...isn't it?...cheers

Halloween......

Hi there...someone could say that Halloween shouldn't be celebrated 'cos it's a consumerist feats...well that's right but just in part...I mean...nobody points out that Christhmas, Easter and Ephifany are gettin' more and more consumerist feats; someone could claim that Halloween doesn't belong to our religion but Italy is a lay state, isn't it?..and also Halloween has to be considered like Carnival, it is not a threat for our Church...so ease up!Halloween is just a Carnival!...see ya in class....

That's so smart...

Hi everybody,
I've just finished my playlist on bloglines. I think bloglines is a very useful and perceptive tool cos u can see the lastest news posted on your favourite sites and obviously it's easier for us post on our mate's blogs. I did not find problems subscribin' blogs cos if u attend lessons it's easier.
See u around, cheers...
